It´s all about choice…

Man U-Barca

I like Barca. We know that already.

Tonight they played semi finals. Everything was at stake, the dream was happening tonight, could have happened, but it said STOP tonight at Old Trafford.

On the front page of Barca.com it said ” The dream depends on Old Trafford”.

Sad to see this seasons mistakes and all the injuries… But I guess that´s football they say.

I´m still “new” in this world and my girly side comes out when I watch these important games. I become too emotional.  Here is where it shines through that I may not be Mr Mjällby or Olof Lundh…
I have still to learn that football has to be both suffering and pleasure, and it´s always going to go up and down, for ALL teams.

Anyway, this is not what I was gonna talk about at all…
Christian Ronaldo has been on my mind the last week.

Great player in some ways, but un-mature, un proffesional and THE wrong attitude. He doesn´t deserve it, you know what I mean?

By falling everytime he hits an ant, by waving his arms to his team, making stupid faces and yelling, screaming like a kid when something doesnt go his way, just turns me off DESPITE the fact he looks really really good.

Take Liverpool for example. How they handled last weeks fiasko.., They have such a team spirit, such support for eachother, there is no one-mans-show there…

Man United and Real madrid, ESPECIALLY Man United, are so much about single stars. GREAT stars yes indeed, but football is a team sport, the team should work together, the fans come together, everybody should be on the same side through it all. Isn´t that what it´s about? Coming together for something we truly believe in and that makes us feel alive?

I can honestly say that all of Ronaldos goals mean NOTHING when he acts the way he does. I don´t care if he scores a million goals this season. The fans shouldn´t believe in a person only because he scores. They should believe and support a team. They should cheer and not turn down through hard times.

I love how Rijkaard said to the media last week that Ronaldinho should be remembered in Barca for the absolutely amazing things he did, not for the bad shape and bad luck he has strugled with this year.

It is so true! People tend to have such a short memory sometimes. Ronaldinho did things that Ronaldo never will do, he did things and brough happiness and a united feeling that Rooney will never ever do.

I don´t know, maybe this is where fan group 1 separate from fan group 2. Maybe some people only care about results, stars and trophies.  Maybe the other group care about team spirit, support, fun entertaining football, supporting good causes and being there for eachother…

I know what group I belong to.

Watch this and how they call Ronaldo “A disgrace to football”
