It´s all about choice…

The Painted Veil

I decided to go home after work and just lay down in my couch and watch a movie and relax. Really, I felt my body needed to just not move and as I was standing in the store trying to pick out a DVD, there was really nothing that attracted my attention. You  see, my first choice is usually the latest Denzel Wachington movie or if I´m in a romantic movie type of mood, the latest Drew Barrymore or Sandra Bullock flick. But today nothing seemed special.
I´ve always liked Edward Norton and Naomi Watts so when I saw that they were both in the same movie I picked it up and figured what the hell…it seems kind of sad, and maybe even boring but there is nothing else here so…

This movie really touched me. A love story about lust, hate, passion, cheating, forgiving…
At first I didn´t like it, but it grew on me and I ended up  completely consumed by this story.
The human ability to forgive and learn how to love, the self-preservation of your own feelings and your need to love and need to progress, move on, be happy. A love that was built upon nothing, crashed and burned but then the beautiful growth of a love stronger than ever. The instinctual love, really deep one.

Few people get to experience that in real life. But luckily enough everyone can experience it through this wonderful movie…
