Friendship

Another very inspiring mail from my best friend made me have to write a few lines.

If you look at people as energy balls the swedish word is much better “Energi-klot” you will probably be a littlbit more hesitant about who to let into your life.
Think about the ball as something made up of wishes, fears, kharma, love, hate, happiness, grief, regrets. All those energies + many more, you realize there is an enourmous amount of bad energy to stay away from. At least this may make you think twice about whether to know everybody everywhere or select who to accept into your life as well as who to really give yourself to. Because I do believe that if you choose to be someones friend, it´s for real and it comes with obligations. It comes with responsibilities, time to put aside, energy to give, thoughts to be supported and discussed. Through good and bad times, cus we all have them or will have them, hard times when we need our friends more than anything else.
Everybodys lifes goes in waves. Good things going for us, good job, falling in love, great experiences, travels, marriages, kids…. Bad thing, family emergencies, lost jobs, getting yelled at by someone, being dumped, making mistakes, divorce, big fights, disagreements…
If you have chosen to be someones friend, you are in it with them during all those times. You will experience the pain, the confusion, the grief and the anger together with them. Now I don´t know about you but I personally could not give myself to more than a few people. Think about all that energy from all those people, draining you at the end. Therefore, I think it´s wise to think about who you have in your life and why.

Friendship over here in L.A seems different, it just does. People here seem to more care about knowing the entire world on the surface than digging into someones mind and learning something new for real.
